The greenway between London and Paris is a bicycle lane of 520 kilometres long, of which 370 kilometres between Dieppe and Paris, join up the two Europeans capitals and cross the departments of Seine-Maritime, Oise, Val-d'Oise, Yvelines, Hauts-de-Seine and Seine-Saint-Denis.
There are two possible options between Gournay-en-Bray (Seine-Maritime) and Cergy-Pontoise (Val-d'Oise) for the departments of "Oise" and "Eure". Looking forward the creation of the definitive layout, a temporary route would be marked for the opening of the 2012 summer olympics.
Called Greenway London <> Paris for the British people, this bicycle lane takes dedicated ways and, sometimes, shared silent ways. It relies on the Cross-Chanel Line between Dieppe-Newheaven and it gives the possibility to the public to go for an anglo-french riding bicycle secured and innovative, which is an ecological alternative to the car, combining originality and bike.
