The fishing licence and the action represented by the stamp AAPPMA  give the privilege of fishing daily (except on fish breeding-days), during the legal period, over all the course of the fishing society « la Truite Gisorsienne » from the lower part of the river, Bazincourt's road to the end of the course situated on the limit of Courcelles, same thing for the river Troësne and the pond of the Ballastière. Fishing is forbidden from the town bridges, in the canal in the town centre, and on the sluices near the town hall.

Conditions for fishing in Gisors

Fishing on the banks of the Epte river society is strictly forbidden when fishes are released (on Friday). It begins upstream at Bazincourt to the end of the course situated on the verge of  Courcelles.

The opening hour is set at 7 am for all the society courses and at 7.30 am from September 1st.

The maximum number of trout in one catch is 6 on Saturday, Sunday and on public holidays, and it is limited to 3 trouts on the other days. This limitation is applicable for rainbow trout and farios, over the whole society course and for all members.

Minimum size required for fishing river trout is : 25 cm
Minimum size required for catching pond trout is : 60 cm
Minimum size required for catching the zander is : 50 cm

For fishing, we suggest to you our beautiful pond which is a 13 hectares area, situated in a splendid and relaxing place, totally planted with trees. Fishes are put in the pond regularly throughout the year.
You would be confronted to carps (sun, love...) with the traditionals fishing ways for this fish (boilies, corns, hempseeds...). Pikes would be wanted for spinning, live baiting, and also fly fishing. Sturgeons which are among our cheptel, would not be very easy to catch. Eventually, pole fishing will allow you the research of a wide variety of white fishes such as chubs, roaches, bleaks, minnows.

The river fishing practice will, also, be possible over the Epte, situated next to the camping, with a direct access. This beautiful norman river with slow and deep water, intersected by herbarium and sills, will only give to you the possibility to go fishing for trout.
The traditionals fishing ways could be used : light spinning, worm fishing, fly fishing. It would, also, be possible to catch some pikes, eels, small carps, chubs. Fishes could be kept within the limit of the creel limit set by the rules.

The fishing pond of  Val Ferman is situated in a 6 hectares area, planted with trees and relaxing. Several fishing options are proposed:

Individual fishing 1 fishing pole on pond : half a day 15 € / daily 25 €
Pond's rental for group and works council 150 € to 350 €
Fishing course for children with gear and bait provided 9,50 € / kg

The trouts (brown, rainbow, salmoned) come, directly, from the production on the spot. If you want, you can purchase the trouts retail at the Fish breeding of  la Lévrière. A shelter accommodation, fully equipped would be available.
